Monster Hunter 3 has gained four reviews for its average since 2 weeks ago, lowering its average from 85.98%.

Thoughts:
I have not played a lot of Monster Hunter 3 since I last reported the data, but I did check for readers Chuckpebble and feilong80, but had no success when I was logged into the game.

I think the average number of hours per person being reported already, is absolutely crazy.
Monster Hunter 3's game-play hours per person, have almost passed the online Wii FPS, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Reflex's, and has already passed Mario Kart Wii's game-play hours per person.

Two weeks ago, I included my Monster Hunter 3 character intro video, and I am including it in this week's post as well:

If you skipped the video, my online hunter name is Coffee and my code is KKJ9F2, and I am now at HR10.

Questions:
Are your average play-time hours around the 44 Hrs 7 Min, as reported on the Wii's Nintendo Channel?  Or, are your hours a lot higher or lower?

My hours are currently right around the 53 Hour mark, so I'm slightly higher than what was reported this past week.

  3. Much higher. Around 200 hours actually. You know, despite these impressive numbers, I wonder how much the hours would increase if it calculated those that uses Homebrew Channel.

  4. I'm right around 100 hours and HR 21, but my co-host, the Rabid Scotsman, is sitting at damned near 400+ hours at this point. The game is great and deserves more attention than it is getting.

  5. 127 hours for me. HR 12 2 star online, 5 star offline.
Can I just say, the people that play this game are awesome! I just need to vent some love, and since I have your ears you guys are in for it.

So, as a gunner, I discovered the absolute joys of shooting Rathian with Dragon S. She stutters after almost every third shot. So good! All is well, until I discover that the Bone Husk L I've been using to make Dragon S is so hard to come by. The sad face.
Finally, after getting 1 or 2 at a time in bone piles, I decided to edit two of my shout outs to:
    Anyone have Bone Husk L?
    Will trade for them!
Second room I went into this morning has 2 guys in the mid HR30s. I got 3 piles of 99 from both of them and they wanted nothing in return. So nice. The least I could do was help them out with the Sharq Ticket Event Quest. Lovely Attire I think it is?
Does anyone else think its funny that there's a quest that requires you to wear no armor or charms to enter and the easiest way to convey that, the word "naked", gets censored. Looked really bad when the one guy wrote, "Get naked!" and it came out "Get *****!". We laughed at that one.
So we're in the quest and we killed all the sharks swimming around and they start filing out of this hole in a line, the two of them just sat there and charged up attacks right when they came out. I said, "Wow, its like an assembly line." Laughs again. Then the one guy says, "Yeah, until lud comes out." I thought, what, lud. So I just started shooting Crags down the tunnel. Then I saw him. Royal Ludroth! CRAP! I'M NAKED! We got 'em though, no sweat.
Back at the bar they asked me to pick a quest, said they wanted to HR me up. I politely declined and said they helped me enough already.
Its amazing how friendly a game can be when its basically all co-op. Thanks random strangers.
So when can I play with you guys? I always bring traps and ammo for paralysis and sleep bombing. ;-)

  7. LOL Wow... 280. I think I'm sitting pretty at 160 hours. Now though there's another game that is eating up my Monster Hunter time, and that is Metal Gear Solid Peacewalker.
