Free Games Giveaway! Connect With Coffee

Coffee Beans
Do you like free games? Here's a chance for you to win not just one game, but four games! Fieldrunners, BIT.TRIP BEAT, SpaceChem, and Uplink are up for grabs, and each is compatible with Android, Windows, MAC OS X, and Linux platforms.

Not only will you get the games, but you will also get the official soundtracks for each as well. Now, how do you go about entering? Brew yourself some coffee, and take a look below!

The Brew
Okay, so you have the chance to enter the giveaway multiple times. That's right...four games, multiple entries, but only one winner!
Here are a few ways of how to get entries for the contest/giveaway right now:
1) Follow the CoffeeWithGames Twitter account HERE, and tweet out this page link adding/including @CoffeeWithGames using the "Tweet" button at the bottom of this post.
Look for "Tweet" button at the bottom of the page.
2) Follow, or "Like", the CoffeeWithGames Facebook page HERE, and like this post on the Facebook page.
3) Leave a comment in the comment section below that says something like, "I want Fieldrunners, BIT.TRIP BEAT, SpaceChem, and Uplink more than my daily cup(s) of coffee!", or leave feedback for the questions I have below, in the comment section as well. If you leave a comment, make sure there is a way I can contact you, and it's not simply an "anonymous" comment. You can email me your contact information HERE, if you wish to comment without a Disqus and/or Twitter account.

There will be chances for more entries in other posts before the contest/giveaway ends, so make sure to check out any other posts that may be popping up. The contest/giveaway will run through next Thursday, August 30th.

Caffeinated Thoughts
I noticed a while back over on Chalgyr's site, http://chalgyrsgameroom.blogspot.com/, the "Social Profiles" section he put up, and I liked how simple and neat the buttons were. I have had trouble with getting the Facebook box to show up properly in my Google's Chrome browser in the past, and after doing some research this past week, I finally experimented with and added the "Connect With Coffee" section at the top right of the site. If you click on the individual coffee cups, the first two will direct you to the Twitter and Facebook pages, while the third is the email contact.

If you are interested in the games for the contest/giveaway, but don't want to wait and see if you win, you can currently purchase them for yourself in the latest Humble Bundle sale, HERE. As for the games being given away, there is a Steam key included with them, so if you have a Steam account they will be synced up with your account.

Questions
Have any of you played any the games included in the contest/giveaway? If so, what do you think of them?
If there was one new feature on CoffeeWithGames, that was consistent (once a month?), what would you like that to be?

  1. Thanks for the opportunity, Coffee. Will you be splitting up the prizes to have multiple winners or is it all one grand prize?

  2. "Thanks for the opportunity, Coffee."
No problem, as for..."Will you be splitting up the prizes to have multiple winners or is it all one grand prize?"
The answer is now in bold in the post for you. :)

  3. It only clicked in afterwards that this was a bundle package and would therefore be one big haul, but my question was more of a suggestion, really, as I did read that you were offering them as an all-in-one.

  4. Yeah, with the Steam key included (wanted to make sure it had that), these are all bundled as one key on Steam. If you go above the average (I did on my main purchase), it separates the Steam keys with the games bundled accordingly. These four together, then the Spirits key, then the World of Goo and others bundled together.

  5. I want these somewhat less than my morning coffee, but they still look cool. I haven't played any of the 4 'standard' games, but do have World of Goo, Osmos and the demo for EDGE. I really like EDGE and should just buy it.

Osmos is also very cool and so is Goo, but I prefer it on WiiWare. It just has a huge tactile advantage over PC due to the WiiMote and the feel it provides.

Something consistent? I liked the idea of WiiWare Wednesday, but it seems like the selection is limited. Something VC/retro maybe?

  6. "Something consistent? I liked the idea of WiiWare Wednesday, but it seems like the selection is limited. Something VC/retro maybe?"

Thanks for the feedback on that, and while I have covered WiiWare games recently, I just didn't do it in the "WiiWare Wednesday" style...probably because of my posting schedule being so spastic and spending so much time on each one, I usually miss the "Wednesday" part of it (though I just saw I didn't title one of them that way, that was posted on a Wednesday!).

As for the Virtual Console/Retro, got one in the works now (if I can just hit POST!). Perhaps a rethinking/schedule of how I do posts would be beneficial. "WiiWare Wednesday", "Movie Monday" "FPS Friday" "Sales Saturday"...something like that...

  7. I want Fieldrunners, BIT.TRIP BEAT, SpaceChem, and Uplink more than my non-existant daily cups of coffee!

    Yeah, I copy-pasted that, blatantly.

  8. Yo, I don't really have anything I can use these with, but I totally followed your Twitter! Just sayin, lol

  9. "non-existant daily cups of coffee"

*goes to rewrite guidelines, "anybody that is a non-coffee drinker, immediately banned from entering"

Ha! Thanks for the comment and Tweet out using the button!

  10. So, are you saying you don't want to be entered at all? I did get the follow, thanks for that, and I followed you back!

  11. I'm already following you on all of those fronts (thanks for the shout-out, btw - glad that inspired you a bit - I like your customized look much better to your buttons), and have all of those titles, so don't worry about entering me :)

I only briefly fired up Uplink and Spacechem - I spent a fair bit of time with Bit.Trip Beat - I liked it better than runner - and the soundtrack's very cool. :) Great contest

  12. "thanks for the shout-out, btw"
    No problem!

"btw - glad that inspired you a bit - I like your customized look much better to your buttons"
Haha, yea, it was probably a few months back when I first looked for the "widget", and then this search didn't lead me to a "widget" but how to custom create/design it. I was throwing up default/standard buttons initially, when the coffee mug idea popped in my head (can't keep anything simple, always finding a way to waste more time!).

"I only briefly fired up Uplink and Spacechem..."
My neighbor and I were chatting back in July, and he mentioned SpaceChem to me. He had heard about it from another friend, and from what my neighbor said, it's supposed to be a pretty challenging game.

  13. As an aside? Awesome seeing you back and posting again so regularly these last couple of months or so. I didn't enjoy those coffee-less weeks nearly as much, you were out and about and not posting .

  14. Raises glass (of coffee of course). I'd second that!

  16. Thanks! I have a reddit account, even did a small ad with them last year, but not really sure how/what type of posts they like over there.

  17. LOL, due to keeping comments/things slightly more "Everyone" rated in the comments, I will try and keep your comment as close to the original (you and I will know for sure!) as possible, but where "Everyone" might not realize what it was.

As for "Q2) maye contests or something =P"
Stick around, and you should see more.

Thanks for stopping by and entering!
