     Metroid Prime 3: Corruption is currently my favorite main franchise game from Nintendo on the Wii.

     If you have never see any footage of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, here is a brief video; but be warned it does show some bosses in the game, though only briefly:

  1. Sadly, I have not. I have only played (and enjoyed) the first Metroid Prime. I've been contemplating getting the collection, but the prices are always just a tad more than I want to pay. I'll pick it up along with Other M at some point, but not yet

  2. I do own Metroid Prime Corruption but I didn't buy it till a few months ago when my local Movie Gallery went out of business.

  3. I held off on buying it since I'm still only at 50% in the first Prime and don't even own the sequel. I also got my Wii about 8 months after Prime 3 came out.

    When the Trilogy came out, I couldn't pass it up. Even though it was hard to find in Quebec, I really wanted that beautiful box. The reason I really wanted the trilogy was that I found Prime to be pretty hard at some point and hoped having more intuitive controls would help. Unfortunately, every time I play I start obsessing over scanning everything and it ruins the fun.

    Once I go through Prime I might skip the sequel and go right to Corruption. I don't know why but Echoes scares me.

    I own Metroid Prime on the GameCube and now in the Trilogy, but have yet to play it more than 20-30 minutes...I should get to that!

    @Joeman1:
    Did you get a good deal on it, and have you beaten it?(I don't remember from your blog or not)

    @Jonath:
    "The reason I really wanted the trilogy was that I found Prime to be pretty hard at some point and hoped having more intuitive controls would help." Do you find the controls in Metroid Prime Trilogy's original Prime, to be more intuitive than the GameCube version?

    As for skipping Echoes, I just need to start/finish Prime...so many games, so little time!

    Thank you all for the comments and thoughts!

  5. It definitely feels good to be able to look around easily without standing still and pressing L if I remember correctly. But after playing The Conduit, I wish I could customize the controls to make it perfect.

    Yea, I had a friend that didn't like Metroid Prime because of that control setup. I played the original, but only for like 20-30 minutes; so I don't know if I would have gotten used to it or not.

    Thanks for the feedback again!
