Thoughts:
You may have noticed, this week I've rearranged a bit.  I'll be tracking the "rail" shooters from 2009 that were released on the Wii in 2009, together in one group, and I'll track the "FPS" shooters on their own.

I do find it interesting that Dead Space: Extraction has the highest review score average and the highest number of reviews, but it has the lowest sales rank currently on Amazon.com and the lowest "total hours" reported.  I wonder if perhaps it's because Dead Space: Extraction was a first time for the franchise on the Wii and it didn't have enough advertising?
I don't know how much advertising House of the Dead: Overkill and Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles had compared to Dead Space: Extraction, or even each other.

Questions:
Have you played any of these games?  If so, what do you think of them from what you played?
If you've played all three of them, do you agree with the review score averages, that Dead Space: Extraction is the best "rail" shooter out of these three?

If you're interested in any of these games, you can see the best new/used prices available on Amazon.com below:

Notes: Number of players reporting data is rounded down to the nearest whole number. Prices on Amazon.com may be reflecting the lowest third party price, not Amazon.com's price directly.

  1. As I stated over on GoNintendo, I've only played Dead Space: Extraction and it was for about the first 5 minutes of the game.

I haven't played House of the Dead: Overkill or Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles, so I don't know how they would compare.

I'm guessing you meant both as one comment?
What didn't you like about Dead Space on the Wii?

    Thanks for the comment(s)!
