Thoughts and Questions:
Four weeks and counting, Amazon.com has been out-of-stock of Wii Fit Plus with Balance Board!  If you saw it above, the Wii Fit Plus with Balance Board bundle is currently only available from 2nd/3rd party vendors on Amazon.com.  The price for it is starting around $120.00!

Kind of funny, I spotted my neighbors last night through their living room window doing what looked like Wii Fit Plus!

I had a friend call me up Saturday night, he and his wife had just purchased New Super Mario Bros. Wii.  He said my post about my wife and I playing through the game, was inspiration to why they purchased it.  I wish him and his wife well in their endeavors!

Is anybody playing Wii Sports Resort on a regular basis?  Or has it become a "party" game, that sits until friends come over?  I know a few readers own Wii Fit Plus, how are the workouts going for you or your family?

  1. I continually play Wii Sports Resort since getting it. Personally I enjoy the speed slice and archery while my wife enjoys the wave rider and airplane games. I still can't get the hang of putting in gold though.

We also have Wii Fit Plus and both me and my wife have made progress towards our goals. We even got my Mother and Father inlaw involved. The only one so far to reach their goal is my wife. Right now I would guess that I am about half way there. I set my goal for 3 months and its not even been 2 weeks yet so I am pretty happy about that.

  2. We own Wii Fit Plus (WFP) and we've played it about 5 times for 30 minutes to an hour each time. We owned it since a week before Christmas 2009, which is about 6 weeks. WFP is good to burn 80-90 calories in a 30 minute session but reading the reviews on Amazon about the EA active and all the other games reveals that those give you better workouts.

I'd say WFP is more for people who enjoy Yoga or people recovering from accidents or surgery as they are light work outs.

But it's a matter of finding time to work out on the wii.

  3. @NintendoGamer:
I had a goal on the original Wii Fit, I still haven't reached it! I think I've gone the opposite way a few pounds since then!

Yea, time is the main factor, but I think it's having a scheduled time each day that would work. I have a difficult time with keeping to a good schedule!
