Coffee Shop! Game deals for the PC, PS3, 3DS, & Wii U!

Coffee Beans
Amazon.com is running some pretty incredible deals on a good number of PC games right now, and along with highlighting some of those, there are a few PS3, 3DS, and Wii U deals you might be interested in.

When I say incredible deals, I don't just mean 10% off titles. No, I mean some PC titles 75-88% off their "List Price" on the site. You also don't need any special coupon(s), special code(s), or special pass phrase(s) to get the deals.

Brew yourself some coffee, and hit the jump to see what games you can find!

The Brew
First up, some of the PC games -

Question
Would you recommend any of these games at their discounted prices, or know of any other game deals happening now that you would recommend?

  1. There are some really, really good titles in this list.

Bioshock 2 isn't great, but it's solid if you liked the first - which I did.

Dead Space 1 & 2 were both excellent, imo. Two of my favorites this generation.

Haven't played Deus Ex - heard some good and bad things about it. Just hasn't made it off my backlog.

Dragon Age: Origins was better than Dragon Age 2, but for RPG fans, I think both were really good. Dragon Age : Origins is still one of my favorite games to come out this generation. Dragon Age and Mass Effect are about the only 2 series of games I haven't traded in after beating.

Metro 2033 was interesting, but not great. Rough around the edges. Last Light is a big improvement IMO. I just got through that one.

Walking Dead is cool - especially for that price. It's a different kind of game - more story than actual 'game', but it's fun - especially if you dig the series.

Same here. Kind of interesting, Wii U owners will be getting the game here soon for the excellent, excellent, excellent discounted price of $50!

Thanks for the comment and feedback!

  3. The real question is if you've held off on the walking dead or are you waiting for a mega <=$10 sale at Steam?

Definitely some good stuff here, but I either have the 3DS games or am not interested. Need to save up for all kinds of things this year, especially that 3DS XL.

  4. Actually, the Amazon sale is a Steam code (at least, that's the it appears). So, it's pretty much like a Steam sale on Amazon. I have held off though.

My offer still stands for your 3DS, that would give your 3DS XL savings a bump!

    Thanks for the comment!

  5. That is insanely good value on Dark Souls: I hope everyone who hasn't already played that game sees that deal.

  6. Deus Ex is a great game, well worth looking forward to. Given the guys that are porting it to the Wii U did such a brilliant job with Mass Effect 3, I actually wouldn't mind paying full price to play it on the dual-screen console.

  7. I don't doubt the team will do a great job porting it over, I just think it's soooo odd seeing the older titles like this at the higher prices.

I really wonder what type of market research is going into getting some of these games ported over?

I do hope the team is getting enough funds, and learning some things by porting games over, that they can perhaps bring over a new Wii U title that isn't out yet. Or, maybe EA could pay them to do DICE's job and port over the Battlefield games to the Wii U, since DICE can't figure that out? Activision paid Treyarch to port Modern Warfare to the Wii, since Infinity Ward didn't/wouldn't do it.

  8. Just as an FYI, some of these are Steam codes, so I think even if you're not in the U.S., you can take advantage of the deals if you have a Steam account.

Dark Souls is one of the ones with a Steam code apparently.

    Thanks for the feedback!

  9. That is quite a deal with the steam code, am still passing for now though.

  10. Oh! A Robert sighting! Going to add to the incomplete collection?

  11. I still need to play this. I just finished off a couple more game over the last week. Trying to figure out what to tackle next, but probably not Dark Souls yet.

  12. I am hopeful they port it over successfully. I am a bit bummed on the Wii U's behalf over things this week.

I didn't realize Treyarch had done the MW port to Wii. My son is much more in favor of them than IF

  13. Yeah, IF didn't do any of the Wii games, even Modern Warfare 3 was ported to the system by Treyarch at the same time it was being developed by IF, I do believe.
