More WiiWare Groovin' Blocks Game-Play

Quick Brew Info:
You may remember(or not) that I received the WiiWare version of Groovin' Blocks from Empty Clip Studios at the end of June, after entering a contest for it.  I mentioned in my "July Finished, August Beginning" post that Groovin' Blocks is "like a Tetris/rhythm game" combined, but instead of rotating blocks, you shuffle the colors within each block that is falling.  Each block that falls is a rectangle, made up of three squares.  Each square can be its own separate color, or they can all be the same color.
Again, I think this type of game is best explained when its shown how it plays, instead of a written explanation, so here's another clip of some footage from the WiiWare version of Groovin' Blocks:

Thoughts:
When I received it, I wasn't sure how much I would play Groovin' Blocks, but I am still enjoying it when I play it.  If anybody has any questions about the game-play footage, you can ask it in the comments or send me an email to Scott@CoffeewithGames.com.

Groovin' Blocks is available as a WiiWare title for 800 Wii points, or as a retail title for about $20  The retail version has more levels, and it would be a physical disc for those that prefer a physical copy over a digital:

  1. One of my favorite WiiWare games. I loved it so much I went out and bought the disc version as well.

I guess you're just playing on Easy then? I only say that cause you didn't mention the four-block square pieces which I believe they introduce in Intermediate. Or maybe just in the hardest difficulty.

I'd call the game more of a rhythm-game take on Columns, but I do have an aversion to Tetris, <__<.

Yea, I have just started from the beginning and have been playing slowly but surely.

Thanks for the feedback on it, I'll try to continue posting random game-play footage from when I play it.
