New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Wii Fit Plus, & Wii Sports Resort: Data

Quick Brew Info:
It has been since May 17, since we looked at these three games together.  I may organize a few games differently going forward; but this week it's time to see how busy the beach in Wii Sports Resort has been, along with how much the Wii Balance Board has been used, and how much Mario is being played in his 2D universe.
The data reported below is compared with the data that was captured/reported from May 17.  Read the May data HERE.

Approx. Number of Players Reporting Data:
Wii Sports Resort now has 509,274 players reporting their play-time data on the Nintendo Channel.
Wii Fit Plus now has 261,135 players reporting play-time data.
New Super Mario Bros. Wii has 573,853 players reporting their play-time data.

Player Increase Over Last Report:
Wii Sports Resort had an increase of 75,536 more players reporting play-time data, since the May 17th data.
Wii Fit Plus had an increase of 42,048 more players reporting play-time data, since May 17.
New Super Mario Bros. Wii had an increase of 97,752 more players, since the last report on all three.

Game-Play Hours Increased Since May 17:
Wii Sports Resort has increased by 2,247,752 "Total" game-play hours.
Wii Fit Plus has increased by 1,058,016 "Total" game-play hours.
New Super Mario Bros. Wii has increased by 4,312,264 "Total" game-play hours.

Amazon.com Sale Rank & Advertised Price:
Wii Sports Resort's Amazon.com sale rank is #31 and the current selling price is $46.99.
Wii Fit Plus', the game only, Amazon.com sale rank is #66 and the current selling price is $14.28.
Wii Fit Plus w/ Balance Board's Amazon.com sale rank is #20 and the current selling price is $99.99.
New Super Mario Bros. Wii's Amazon.com sale rank is #7 and the current selling price is $35.54.

GameRankings.com Review Score Averages:
Just a quick note, if you check the last POST, and this post; you may notice that the number of Wii Fit Plus reviews actually decreased by one.  I know GameRankings.com can update which sites they use for the averages, so I guess they decided to make one review/site not be averaged into Wii Fit Plus' score.

Thoughts:
New Super Mario Bros. Wii continues to perform extremely well in "Total" hours and hours averaged "Per person".
The price on New Super Mario Bros. Wii has been discounted to around $35 for the last few weeks on Amazon.com, and Reggie Fils-Aime, the President and COO of Nintendo of America, confirmed at E3 that New Super Mario Bros. Wii has sold more than 14 million copies worldwide, since its release.

Questions:
Have you played Wii Sports Resort, Wii Fit Plus, and/or New Super Mario Bros. Wii since I last reported the data for all three games?
If you haven't purchased New Super Mario Bros. Wii, is there a "magic" price that would get you closer to purchasing it?

If you are interested in any of these games, you can see new & used prices for them on Amazon.com:

  1. I played Wii Fit Plus (WFP) a couple of weeks ago doing some Yoga.

I think in order for me to even consider getting Mario is that the price would have to get to $19.99.

  2. I playeed New Super Mario Bros. last Sunday, Wii Fit Plus with my wife and daughter on Monday (with Balance Board). I haven't played sports resort in about two or three weeks. I played New Super mario mid-last week again, like Wed. That game I bought new on release day for my kids - so I'm not a good judge on how low the price has to get. ;)

  3. I haven't touched any of them in a while but my brother played Wii Fit Plus a couple of days ago.

I feel like playing NSMBW again soon, I miss it. Totally worth the 50$ in fun and length.

  4. @Nicodemus at Nite:
If New Super Mario Bros. Wii was L4D3, I doubt price would be an object...would it?

    @Chalgyr:
Yea, my wife and I rented NSMBW, and once we beat it; we returned it. The game was a lot of fun, and I'm not sure what price the right price is for us. It is a game we would like to add to our collection though.

    @Jonath:
Did you finish NSMBW already? With all the levels unlocked and completed? I'm not sure what the "playing NSMBW again soon" means.

Thank you all for the comments/thoughts!
