Dear Nintendo of America...

Coffee Beans
Do you see that image above? It's an image Nintendo of America just included in an email to everybody signed up to receive promotional emails from them, and this email was specifically for the Wii U. It is titled, "Wii U Games, offers, and news for you", and I'm glad to see Nintendo of America actually promoting the Wii U. There's just one problem I have with it...

Do you see what is wrong with that image above? If not, take a look at the image below, as it currently appears on their Club Nintendo site, and see if you can spot it (same exact spot).
Why don't they like the Y button?

Now take a look at the image below that I have edited in an attempt to fix the one(s) above, using sub-$100 photo editing software. This is how the image should appear.
As it should appear, unless they're trying to promote the GamePad with a 3D display like the 3DS?

I'm not a billion dollar corporation. I don't blog for a living. I'm not a professional photo editor, have never taken an art course, and am pretty slow when it comes to editing basic things in Photoshop. BUT, the fact I spotted that image error, makes me wonder how quickly they throw things together at Nintendo of America without proofreading them?

Perhaps, just perhaps, the employee(s) who edited it and put the email together just didn't have enough coffee during the day? THAT, I can understand (sort of).

So, in short:
"Dear Nintendo of America,

Please fix the first image above as it is currently seen on the Club Nintendo site (http://club2.nintendo.com/clubn-vc-promo-0613/), and please proofread emails and double check images before possibly sending them out to millions of Nintendo fans.

Thanks,
Scott"

Questions
Did anybody else, perhaps non-artist or non-graphic designer like myself, notice that error in the image? Would anybody like to donate me a few billion dollars?

Here is a newer version of the software I used to fix Nintendo of America's bad Wii U GamePad image:

How many hours has Super Smash Bros. been played? U.S. Super Smash Bros. Data Report

Coffee Beans
Super Smash Bros. was originally released for the Nintendo 64 in 1999. The game was developed by HAL Labortory and published by Nintendo. It was re-released for the Wii's Virtual Console in North America on December 21, 2009 at a price point of 1,000 Wii Points, which is $10. Super Smash Bros. on the Virtual Console maintained its original "Everyone" rating from the ESRB, with "Cartoon Violence" listed as content for gamers and parents to be aware of.

Club Nintendo members can currently get Super Smash Bros. through a Club Nintendo offer for just 200 coins through September 16th. If you have never played a Super Smash Bros. game, you might be wondering, "Is Super Smash Bros. worth 200 of my hard-earned Club Nintendo coins?"

How many hours can you expect to get from the Super Smash Bros. game that started it all? How many hours have U.S. Wii owners reported playing the original Super Smash Bros. since the game released on the Wii's Virtual Console? Brew yourself some coffee, and let's take a look!

Is it worth 150 Club Nintendo coins? Fluidity Hours Report

Coffee Beans
Fluidity was released through the WiiWare service on December 6, 2010 at a $12 price point. The game was developed by Curve Studios and published by Nintendo, and it received an ESRB rating of "Everyone" with "Comic Mischief" being the only content listed for gamers and parents to be aware of.

If you are a Club Nintendo member, you can get Fluidity right now through August 19th, for only 150 coins. "Is Fluidity worth 150 Club Nintendo coins, and how many hours can I expect to get from the game?", you might be wondering though.

Well, brew yourself a fresh pot of coffee (mine just finished!), and let's take a look at how many hours U.S. Wii owners have reported playing Fluidity since the game released!
