September Brewed! Coffees Consumed, Games Played
Coffee Beans
Tests, homework, tests, homework, family, tests, homework, work, tests. This is how I pretty much feel September went, along with daily coffee consumption of course, and finding time to play a few games as well.
So, with October already brewing, let's take a look at the games I played, and the coffees I consumed during September!

August Brewed - Coffees Consumed, Games Played
Coffee Beans
Family, work, school, and flying out for a friend's wedding is where a lot of my time was invested in August, but I did make time to play some games, and coffee consumption was a daily occurrence as usual.
With the 31 days of August 2011 now history, let's take a look at the coffees I consumed, and the games I played during August.

Nicodemus_at_Nite and Coffee by Mail, Again!
Coffee Beans:
It all started back in June, when my first package of coffee arrived. One of the regular readers here at CoffeewithGames, Nicodemus_at_Nite, had mailed me a container of Trader Joe's Organic French Roast Dark Roast coffee.
The first coffee package was followed by another Trader Joe's coffee container, that he mailed me in August. The second coffee container was Trader Joe's Organic Fair Trade Five Country Espresso blend.
Well, just this month on November 15, when I checked our mail there was a package that contained....
Trader Joe's Organic Fair Trade Cafe Pajaro! I have been enjoying the blend very much, and like the other Trader Joe's coffees that Nicodemus_at_Nite mailed me, Cafe Pajaro's is also a whole bean coffee:

Shiny coffee beans! |
A portion of the Cafe Pajaro description says, "The beans used for our Cafe Pajaro have been roasted in small batches to bring out the natural aromatic oils. This ultra dark roast coffee has a full silky body that is complimented by a medium acidity and dark chocolaty sweet overtones."
I would say the description "ultra dark roast" applies well to this blend, and I find this coffee blend to be a great balance overall.
Nicodemus_at_Nite is still writing on his blog, NicodemusatNite.Blogspot.com. From talking with him last night through GMail, he is currently having a lot of fun playing through Donkey Kong Country Returns.
A big thanks, AGAIN, to Nicodemus_at_Nite for sending me the Trader Joe's Cafe Pajaro coffee blend. It wasn't expected, but it is being enjoyed as the others were!

Coffee by Mail, Again?
Back on June 7 of this year, I wrote a post titled, "Coffee by Mail?!" In the post, I talked about how reader Nicodemus_at_Nite had mailed me a container of coffee.
On August 25, I received an email from Nicodemus_at_Nite, in which he stated he had mailed me another package; but he didn't specify what was going to be in the package. Well, when I opened the package after receiving it, this is what was inside:
I enjoyed the blend very much, and just finished it off today. If you have a Trader Joe's in your area, and like strong coffee; I would suggest giving the Five Country Espresso blend a try. I think the brief description on the container of, "Dark Roast - Strong, Rich & Well Balanced" is a very good description for the coffee. You may have missed it in the picture, but the coffee is whole bean as well.
Nicodemus_at_Nite is still writing on his blog, NicodemusatNite.Blogspot.com; and from what I know he is still playing Left 4 Dead 2, and just picked up Starcraft 2(because he didn't like Metroid: Other M's controls!).
Perhaps Trader Joe's should hire Nicodemus_at_Nite as a marketing guy over their coffee brands! A big thanks to Nicodemus_at_Nite for sending me the Trader Joe's Organic Fair Trade Five Country Espresso blend; it was not expected, but it was greatly appreciated!

Coffee by Mail?!
A new week is upon us, and fresh data stories will be posted, shortly.
I had an interesting weekend, starting with receiving a package in the mail on Friday.
It was an odd shaped package. Once I got through the packaging, I discovered this:

(Organic!)
Now, you may be thinking, "CwG(Scott) has coffee drinking issues, he is now ordering his coffee by mail!"
Well, I did not order the coffee, but a reader of the blog actually sent it to me!
Many of you have probably seen his comments on different stories I have posted, the reader is Nicodemus_at_Nite.
The coffee is Trader Joe's Organic French Roast Dark Roast. The description of it reads, "RICH, BOLD and BRIGHT". The "BRIGHT" description definitely applies to the beans, as they are the shiniest beans I can remember seeing!
(Shiny!)
Trader Joe's organic blends are now Nicodemus_at_Nite's coffees of choice.
Nicodemus at Nite runs his own blog, NicodemusatNite.Blogspot.com. It is not a gaming related blog, but more of a spiritual blog. When I asked Nicodemus_at_Nite, why he named his blog that, he said, "It is based off of John 3. It is my favorite conversation Jesus had with someone, and I relate to Nicodemus. He thought he was a know-it-all, and I still do."
Nicodemus_at_Nite may not blog about video games, but he does enjoy them.
I asked him what his favorite video game of all time is.
He said, "Probably Final Fantasy 3 for the SNES."
I then asked him what his favorite video game is, currently.
He said, "Left 4 Dead 2."
He plays the PC version of Left 4 Dead 2, and plays about two hours per week; usually on Saturday and Sunday.
Trader Joe's Organic French Roast is the first organic coffee that I can remember having.
I thank Nicodemus_at_Nite for sending me the coffee, it is greatly appreciated!
Will it make my "coffee of the month" for June? I guess we'll find out at the beginning of July!
Questions:
Have you ever had an organic coffee? If so, which blend and did you enjoy it?
