Amazon.com Video Game Sales & Pre-order

Coffee Beans
     Below are a few Nintendo Wii and Nintendo 3DS video games currently on sale, or for pre-order, on Amazon.com.
     Mrs. Coffee purchased me Donkey Kong Country Returns as a Christmas gift, and we thoroughly enjoyed the game's cooperative experience.  If you are looking for a challenging and fun platforming game, I definitely recommend Donkey Kong Country Returns.
     Other than DKCR, I have also played and beaten Resident Evil 4 on the Wii, though it's no longer in my Wii collection.  I enjoyed Resident Evil 4, though I didn't feel it was very "Resident Evil" compared to the older games in the series, but I would recommend it to Wii owners looking for a lower priced game from the Resident Evil series.

Question
     Are there any games listed below you would, or wouldn't, recommend to other Wii and 3DS owners?

  1. Game Deals - Muramasa the Demon Blade. This is not for the casual audience, but it is part sidescrolling adventure game, part brawler, part RPG, 100% hand drawn 2D awesomeness. I have not seen a more visually impressive game on any system this gen. You get two characters to choose from with different routes and stories that overlap. Huge amazing boss battles make this one of the most underplayed games on Wii. For only $13, this is an absolute steal!! You buy this and RE4 and you will meet your $25 for free shipping.

    3DS titles - the only 3DS game I have is Ocarina. I say go for it for a couple reasons. First this is $10 cheaper than ANYWHERE else. Second, not having a N64 this is my first playthrough of this game, and it holds up especially with the updated graphics. Looks good in 3D too.

  2. @kbakerde - I would agree with Muramasa - completely. That is the only one on this list we actually have that I can comment on.

    Also - @coffee - awesome to see the posts rolling in again. :)

  3. I agree with Chalgyr.

    And we expect 2 posts per day. Having two kids and a job is NOT an excuse to slack off in your blogging!

  5. @kbakerde:
    Thanks for the detailed feedback! I have heard a lot of good about Muramasa, but haven't played it myself.
    As for Ocarina of Time, I own it on the N64 still, though I don't see myself playing it again anytime soon.

    @Chalgyr:
    Yea, after looking at the data, the "tabs" aren't used often, so I figured since I have done these posts for another site for several years now, one every so often wouldn't hurt.

    You forgot school in that list!

    @Chalgyr:
    Work = almost every Saturday(plus during the week)! So my weekends don't consist of "loads of free time".
