Save money on games? Have more money for coffee! If you have been interested in Call of Duty: Black Ops II, now is a great time to grab it (not sure how long this will last)! The game is currently on sale for just $39.99.

That's 33% off the game's current MSRP, which is normally $59.99.

You can grab the PC, PlayStation 3, Wii U, and Xbox 360 versions of Black Ops II from Amazon.com, all linked below:

  1. Hard to argue with that price. Even used at Gamestop or Disc Traders, you're looking at a $55 price tag - $50 if you are a rewards user with Gamestop. I can say for my part, this is the most fun I've had with a CoD game since MW 2.

  2. That's actually a heck of a deal. Like Nintendo's games, Call of Duty titles rarely drop substantially in price.

On the one hand I do admire Activision to insist on the value of its games. On the other hand, it's hard to turn down a bargain when you see one :D

    Good find, Coffee

  3. I agree man, this type of sale usually happens rarely, and usually over a weekend...it's kind of interesting that the sale price is still $39.99 for all versions. BTW, I don't know if I said it (probably not), but I did start over again...almost back to 55 now. (Have seen some CRAZY high Prestige levels though...INSANE!)

Thanks for stopping your matches of Black Ops 2 to comment! ;)

You know, this console generation for the Wii U will probably FINALLY see the "Player's Choice" lineup come back. I have seen NSMBU discounted already down to around $49.99 some places (NSMBW I think is still $50 regular), and if the Wii U doesn't take off like the Wii, Nintendo is going to have to play ball with the other guys, and introduce the lower priced games like they did with the GameCube, and probably here quickly.

I'm just really surprised to see it at this price, and more than just a day now, especially with the first DLC just releasing for it. But maybe that's the reason, discount the game now, get it out to more players and hope they pick up the DLC as well.

I've debated on grabbing an extra copy now, because this price really doesn't happen often, but I have to save my pennies for another game (or, two) in March.

It depends on whether the discounting is led by the retailer or Activision.

If it's the retailer making the price cut on its own initiative, it's probably just to clear out excess inventory, which is the bane of retail.

If, on the other hand, it's Activision driving the discount, then I reckon you're right on the money there.

  6. Yeah, apparently Amazon is price matching (maybe viceversa). There's another retailer that has it at $39.99 right now as well, I just did a quick search and found it, because I'm just not used to seeing Amazon keep discounted prices this low, for this long.
