It's actually more than 20 hours of game-play from what I've read, so it's more than HOTD:O and Dead Space: Extraction if that's true.

@Nicodemus at Nite:
I don't know if they should complain, being that they haven't really given Wii owners anything new, other than the on-rail experiences from Resident Evil. Like I said above, the game has a lot to it, and it wasn't just a quick "cash-in" with few game-play hours. The game takes players through many of the Resident Evil games, but I don't know why they would complain, considering what they released it against in the month of November.

@Kyle in DE:
I'm still not sure why Wii owners aren't getting quality AAA content, but these spin-offs and retellings of the same stories, just in a different format.

@StorageCraft:
Not really sure what your comment had to do with Resident Evil or Capcom.

Thanks everybody for the comments!coffeewithgameshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05381995224445934504noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8884169422383528093.post-9565477189643384442010-01-24T03:13:36.419-05:002010-01-24T03:13:36.419-05:00Nintendo has always remained my favorite and befor...Nintendo has always remained my favorite and before purchasing it i actually had a verbal fight with my mom and my dad. A Wii exclusive sequel to RE4 Wii would have been much better received.Kyle in DEnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8884169422383528093.post-12524380148407342552010-01-21T07:20:38.085-05:002010-01-21T07:20:38.085-05:00I left the questions you posted in my post so I di...I left the questions you posted in my post so I didn't have to keep scrolling up by accident. lol.Charlie Changhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15893038509880330735noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8884169422383528093.post-43533083842319912772010-01-21T07:19:26.680-05:002010-01-21T07:19:26.680-05:00Do you think Capcom was correct in complaining abo...Do you think Capcom was correct in complaining about Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles' sales being poor according to Capcom? Or do you think Capcom is being lazy and giving Wii owners remakes, instead of a new Resident Evil experience?

I think Capcom is just being lazy. If they really wanted to make a great Resident Evil game, they would. They can't rehash games and spit out onrail games that people have either played before with better graphics and new controls or a 3 hour onrail game with over the top plots and then complain. Well they can complain, but they shouldn't be surprised. The Resident Evil game series is awesome. I've played RE1,2,3 on the Playstation, Code Veronica on the Dreamcast, Zero on the Gamecube and all were excellent. They certainly are doing okay as a business and I think again, they are being lazy. Give the customer what they want, some new wii resident evil games. It's not like they can run out of stories.Charlie Changhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15893038509880330735noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8884169422383528093.post-11524248211973276262010-01-21T01:12:17.199-05:002010-01-21T01:12:17.199-05:00I think that in some ways Capcom is being lazy wit...I think that in some ways Capcom is being lazy with the whole attitude with the "test" games to see if people who own the Wii want core content. There have been several core games of good quality that have sold well. While they may not have had the day one sales of Modern Warfare 2 they have still sold decent amounts.

I don't want an on-rail experience. I want the core gameplay. It doesn't necessarily have to be Resident Evil but I would like something like Lost Planet. I think Spyborgs could have been good if they hadn't revamped the game itself.

Oh well I am not sure if any of the 3rd parties really take the Wii seriously anymore or even believe that there are core gamers left on the Wii. In reality they just need to start producing quality games and they will see the sales they want it just wont happen on day one or within the first week.Joeman1https://www.blogger.com/profile/17631766372750379294noreply@blogger.com
