I just got it yesterday and its definately not very easy to play or understand. Added to the fact that I'm not reporting anything because I haven't connected my wii to the internets since the 3.9 update. The demographic maybe too niche for it to be tracked.owenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09989384856313244450noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8884169422383528093.post-43158294336317798102010-02-17T23:53:27.063-05:002010-02-17T23:53:27.063-05:00I bought both games and each are fantastic!!I bought both games and each are fantastic!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8884169422383528093.post-62721600273714325022010-02-17T21:40:57.640-05:002010-02-17T21:40:57.640-05:00@ Anonymous from February 17, 2010 5:46 AM:
Yea, i...@ Anonymous from February 17, 2010 5:46 AM:
Yea, it is interesting that NMH2 didn't use WM+. I wonder if it's because the game was already past the early development period, and they didn't want to delay it.

@Nicodemus at Nite:
Crazy dedication. Now I wonder if he'll have trouble finding a Wii to buy? Did he mention why he didn't buy a Wii with the game?

@Thaddeus Venture:
"Even if it does count everything, it IS a single player game, 1 playthrough is about 10 hours."
I was just surprised that NMH2 didn't debut yet, even though it's only a single-player game.
I thought that NMH2 was going to sell more than TvC, because NMH2 was a sequel to a Wii game.

@Anonymous from February 17, 2010 10:22 AM:
I'm just not interested in NMH2, TvC, I am though. I wasn't interested in the first NMH, and I haven't seen anything that makes me interested in NMH2 yet. Preference I guess.

@Anonymous from February 17, 2010 11:03 AM
I do find it interesting that Ubisoft released NMH2 with little to no advertising on television. Also, I think you point out an interesting point about NMH being ported up to the Xbox360/PS3, so why won't NMH2 be ported as well? Just give it time, and if the first port sells well, I can see NMH2 being ported as well.

@Anonymous from February 17, 2010 12:53 PM:
I definitely agree that a game doesn't have to have multi-player. I've played the first Assassin's Creed and multiple Zelda games. I just think the lack of an online multi-player is the reason NMH2 didn't debut, and that TvC does have online multi-player is the reason it debuted already.

@Kyle in DE:
Yea, if the numbers are right, NMH2 should debut this next week.
What do you think from what you've played of Muramasa?

THANKS to everybody for the comments!coffeewithgameshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05381995224445934504noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8884169422383528093.post-18036679477405636492010-02-17T13:23:52.300-05:002010-02-17T13:23:52.300-05:00The info above is actually reasonable. Both title...The info above is actually reasonable. Both titles were launched the same day, and the estimated sales of TVC was twice that of NMH2. Even then if you keep all other info constant (% players online, Number hours played/player) then it would make sense that NMH2 would have half the total playtime (about 41,000 hrs) then it won't have gotten to that 50k hour threshold.

Otherwise, it is also reasonable to assume that TVC with a robust online will have garnered more hours from it's players than NMH2 which is intensely single player. In the long run, I don't think the disparity of sales or players will be that great, but I do think that TVC will have much more hours logged on the Wii due to the multiplayer aspect.

Otherwise, I definately plan on getting NMH2 after I am done with Muramasa, but TVC has really impressed me so far and might jump it for me.

@ Anonymous 2/17 11:03 I would like to thank you for bringing nothing to the conversation.Kyle in DEnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8884169422383528093.post-3191135265669048832010-02-17T12:53:28.358-05:002010-02-17T12:53:28.358-05:00I got No More Heroes2. Assasin's Creed doesn't, Zelda doesn't, Bayonetta doesn't. If you like those games this appeals to you.

You are stupid if you think your going to wait for No More Heroes on other systems. Its going to be 3 years after the original to be realesed in Japan. We are done with the sequal for a year before you get the first in Japan. Maybe you'll get the sequal in 2014.

Thats like me braging about geting God of War 2 on 360 next year. I'll wait for God of War 3 to be released on 360 in 2014 in Japan! That shows you ps3. See that agrument is stupid, and filled with logical falicies.

Suda made a great artist game for the gamers. It is a lot of fun. I also want to pick up TvC down the line.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8884169422383528093.post-21394591780070036262010-02-17T11:03:50.821-05:002010-02-17T11:03:50.821-05:00I didn't buy NMH2 because it's just going ...I didn't buy NMH2 because it's just going to get a port on the X360/PS3 like part 1 is? And Why would I waste my money on the Wii when the company is a sell out. Suda should have fought hard to hold on to his baby but he lost his nutz in the toilet and now its landed on the X360/PS3! This is a problem why 3rd party companies don't do well on Wii because there are hard core gamers out there that know how 3rd parties are to treating use with bad games just like they did in the past! What you think we don't pay attention to who makes these games?

Better think again and start making the real game that core wants? Stop thinking and bust out a full on action game that we need. This is no need to talk about a game for the Wii when its in develop states and surprise us when its down and then maybe it will sell because people will say wow when did this come out and be all over it! But then again what 3rd party out there listen to there fan base when there all about the money now?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8884169422383528093.post-73958459961177866472010-02-17T10:22:08.049-05:002010-02-17T10:22:08.049-05:00I have Heroes, and its Frickin Awesome, if u haven...I have Heroes, and its Frickin Awesome, if u haven't tried it, trust me u should.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8884169422383528093.post-11648036934813848642010-02-17T07:54:45.757-05:002010-02-17T07:54:45.757-05:00Ha, I love the people that still validate games wi...Ha, I love the people that still validate games with "does it have online multiplayer".
Anyway, I noticed an anomaly. I know that this isn't going to be very common, but I play with my Wii calendar set to exactly a year in the past due to some Animal Crossing catching up that I've been trying to do. I noticed that the Nintendo channel didn't even query me about NMH2 until I set my calendar to the present day. Strange, I wonder if its only reporting my play time that is after the actual release date. In which case its only about 3 hours.
Even if it does count everything, it IS a single player game, 1 playthrough is about 10 hours. A second to get 100% of everything doesn't take much longer because you don't have to earn as much money.
There is however, the Deathmatch mode which will definitely keep me busy with the game for some time to come.
But yeah, this isn't at all unexpected to me. I was expecting NMH2 to go out in limited release, it is almost an indie game really, almost. I think it would be hard to find now.
I'm glad to see TvC doing so well. I will be getting that eventually. I'm really perplexed as to why we don't have Street Fighter 4 yet. And, to rub salt into the wound, its been announced/rumored for iPhone and PSP. Two ways to play in which I can't imagine the game being at all controllable. OK, PSP would be better than iPhone I guess, but still.Chuckpebblehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12294181146939134410noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8884169422383528093.post-33188795268156353902010-02-17T07:49:50.210-05:002010-02-17T07:49:50.210-05:00TvC looks awesome and a friend texted me over the ...TvC looks awesome and a friend texted me over the weekend telling me he bought the game package that includes the cards and the arcade stick...yet he doesn't have a Wii yet.
