Rayman Origins released on November 15, 2011 in the U.S. on the Wii with a MSRP of $49.99. The game was a multi-console release, also releasing on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 the same day; then on February 15th this year the game released on the PlayStation Vita. The game has also released on the PC in March, and next month on June 5th it will be releasing on the Nintendo 3DS.
The game was developed by Ubisoft's Montpellier studio, and it received an ESRB rating of "Everyone 10+" with "Comic Mischief, Mild Cartoon Violence, Suggestive Themes" listed as content for gamers and parents to be aware of.
Just how many hours have Wii owners spent in the Glade of Dreams with Rayman and friends (and fiends) since November? Let's take a look!

Rayman Origins originally released with a MSRP of $49.99 on the Wii as I stated above, but the game can now be found new on the Wii for less than $20, and less than $30 on the PS3 and Xbox 360.
Caffeinated Thoughts
I just started playing through Rayman Origins Friday night, and am enjoying my time with the game. I really like the soundtrack, and feel that the music fits the game's levels very well.
The game has reminded me more of Donkey Kong Country Returns in terms of level design and camera positioning in levels, than New Super Mario Bros. Wii, but so far I have only made it through the first world in the game, so that impression could change by the time I finish it.
If you have not seen anything from Rayman Origins, the first video below is of a "Time Attack", or speedrun, I tried in the game's second level, Geyser Blowout:
The next video is one of the trailers Ubisoft released for the game in Europe:
While I don't write reviews very often, that could change in the future, but if you are wondering what other gamers like yourselves thought of the game, you can check out SuperPhillip32's review of the game on his site HERE, and GamesAndBiz's (Matt S) review on one of his sites, HERE.
Question
Have any of you played and beaten Rayman Origins, and if so, how many hours did it take you to finish the game?
Did you complete the game 100%, or just the main story and levels?
