I have not played any of the games in the Paper Mario series, but I do remember watching a friend in college play a little of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door
and thinking the game concept was really cool.If you have never seen any game-play footage of the Paper Mario series, I highly encourage you to watch the video below, so you can see the concept behind the games:
I think the reported game-play data for Super Paper Mario with more than 25 hours of average game-play is really good for the game, and I think it would be worth the new asking price of $19.99, just based on the reported game-play hours "Per person".
Seeing over 700,000 thousand Wii owners have reported data for the game is also encouraging I think, especially when considering the Nintendo Channel data is only used by a small percentage of Wii owners.
