Approx. Number of Players Reporting Data
Just Dance has 69,535 players reporting play-time data on the Wii's Nintendo Channel.

"Total" & Average Hours
Just Dance has 525,895 Total Hours of game-play reported, as of this past Monday.
I think it is interesting that the average play-time "Per person" is just 7 Hrs. 34 Min.

Amazon.com Sale Rank & Advertised Price
Just Dance's Amazon.com sale rank is #8, and the current selling price is $28.54.

Review Scores
For me, I think this is the biggest surprise about the game.
Just Dance has a GameRankings.com review score average of 48.41%, based on 17 reviews.

There have been numerous articles and even a recent report, that say how much GOOD review scores matter.
Well, if there is a game exception to the rule, that game is Just Dance.
One line from the IndustryGamers.com article says, "...we need to keep in mind that one of the primary reasons anchoring is so effective with video game consumers is because of the strong trust between gamers and credible professional critics."

Most "core" gamers may see Just Dance's review score average from "credible professional critics" and think the game isn't very good.
Looking at Amazon.com user reviews though, shows a different side of reviews and opinions on the game.

On Amazon.com, Just Dance has what appears to be a 4.25 out of 5 Star rating, based on an incredible 533 customer reviews.

How is it that "credible professional critics" seem to be so far off from customers that actually purchased Just Dance, in their opinions of the game?
Well, I think that's a topic for another day, but I'm glad to see that consumers that paid for the game, are enjoying the game.

Thoughts
If you visit Just Dance's YouTube Channel, http://www.youtube.com/user/justdancegame, you can see videos that have been uploaded by Wii owners, showing themselves playing the game.

When a game releases and sells 3 million+ copies, a sequel for it is basically guaranteed these days.

During Nintendo's E3 press conference this year, they announced and showed a trailer for Just Dance 2.
Just Dance 2 will be released later this year, on October 12; if Amazon.com's release date is correct.
Here's the trailer they showed for Just Dance 2 at E3:

Questions
Confession time you core gamers, how many of you have played Just Dance?  If you played it, did you enjoy it, or did you think it deserves the "professional" review score average it has?

I haven't played it myself, but I do think the play-time data and number of sales for the game show that sometimes it is better to try a game for yourself, than to listen to a "professional".
